The drawing (below) shows the drawer slide that I've used. This is not an endorsement of Knape & Vogt drawer slides. It's a good slide but a little pricy. Any slide of this type should meet the requirement.

Cordless screwdrivers, relays and microswitches can be found at good prices at electrical/electronic surplus stores on The Web, but of course, there's the shipping cost. I will see how many of these parts I can find in the Radio Shack Catalog (no shipping cost!). I may not get to this for a while. It's duck season (until Jan. 25).
